For the serious collector of stamp history, security printing ephemera, and early twentieth-century industrial design. A beautifully preserved 1920s Stanley Gibbons Colour Guide for Stamp Collectors No.2077 printed in London by the security house Harrison and Sons Ltd. This 'Improved Edition' is complete, with unfaded colour labels. DESCRIPTION: Four fold card philatelic tool printed by Harrison and Sons Ltd between 1925 and 1930 to assist in the identification of stamps. Features 100 actual colour labels on a 20 by 5 grid from 'Brown Lake' to 'Slate Bluish' Language: English Book Condition: Very Good. Very light wear to creased corners, edges and spine ends. Bright sharp card with splash mark to lower right corners. Bright internal card with some minor spots and a splash to lower edge of card. DJ Condition: No DJ.
