A Star for the Dreaming World (Paperback or Softback)

Byron was a faun, he looked like a boy, except he had goat legs and horns,

He lived with his parents and his two little sisters in the Hollow Tree where he was born.

Once upon a Midwinter's Eve, the longest night of the year,

Byron went outside the Tree, to see what he could see, and hear what he could hear... .

And when he ventured out Byron never would have guessed,

He was really setting off on an epic star-lit quest.

A night of haunted forests and unexpected friends,

Through tunnels and dark passes to where all true adventure ends.

Beyond his home, beyond his world to a place of gathering,

Pursued with every step he takes by the fearsome Antler King.

What will Byron find out there? What treasure could be waiting?

Guided by a still, small voice, never hesitating.

Will he win a priceless pearl if he can only make it through?

Or gaze upon an untold beauty ever ancient, ever new?

For ages 9 and up, with Catholic overtones,

A hero's journey adventure quest of going forth and coming home.

"A Star for the Dreaming World" is a mythic Christian story,

For all the watchful boys and girls who wait for Christmas glory.
