About the Author

The Star Seeker series was originally written for the author's children, especially his son Wesley. Advanced readers, all were faced with the same problem: Finding reading material that was challenging to read yet of a suitable moral content for their age. This book and the series that follows (six books so far) is their father's answer to that problem - to write a series of high adventure science fiction with traditional family and moral values. E. W. Finch is a retired English instructor and great fan of science fiction literature. While he has never physically left the planet, he has adventure among the stars as both a science-fiction role playing gamer and referee and has gaming design credits. He is a graduate of Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida with degrees in Journalism and Christian Education. He also has pursued graduate studies at Dallas Theological Seminary and the University of South Florida. He currently lives with his wife, four children, three dogs, one cat and 18 goldfish in central Florida.
