Star Trek: The Original Series: Inception

A visionary Star Trek origin story that follows Carol Marcus, James Kirk, and Spock as a revolutionary scientific dream is born—one that could transform lifeless worlds into paradise.

As humanity pushes beyond explored space, the Federation faces a growing challenge: how to make inhospitable planets livable. Young biologist Carol Marcus believes she has the answer. Driven by idealism and scientific brilliance, she begins work on a project that could reshape planets themselves—creating a future without hunger, scarcity, or uninhabitable worlds.

Carol’s dream is shared by a young and passionate Starfleet officer, James Kirk, whose belief in her vision is matched only by his belief in her. As Project: Inception takes shape, Carol assembles a team that includes the gifted botanist Leila Kalomi. Inspired by Carol’s determination, Leila soon captures the attention of the Enterprise’s science officer, Spock, who recognizes the project’s vast potential—and its profound risks.

Together, these young scientists and officers take the first steps toward a discovery that could redefine life in the Federation, setting in motion ideas and ambitions that will echo across the galaxy.
