About the Author
Henry Gilroy is best known for developing and writing Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie and cartoon. In his long career in animation, he has written for shows such as Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League, as well as creating Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters and Bionicle: The Trilogy. He has handled production duties on Hulk: Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Ultimate Spider-Man and Star Wars: Rebels. In comics, he wrote Joker/Mask, Aliens: Mondo and Star Wars Tales.
After cutting his teeth at Dark Horse drawing Joker/Mask and several Star Wars comics, Spanish artist Ramon Bachs illustrated runs on Wildstorm’s Gen13 and DC’s Detective Comics. He soon brought his gritty style to Marvel, teaming with writer Paul Jenkins on the Decimation limited series Generation M. The pair reunited for the smash hit Civil War: Front Line and teamed again for its sequel World War Hulk: Front Line. Bachs illustrated the send-up Marvel Apes limited series and returned to DC to pencil Red Robin and Azrael.
Spanish artist Manuel Garcia studied architecture for years before breaking into comic books, drawing a Conan pin-up for a Spanish publication. Entering the American market with a DC Comics Robin story in 2001, he moved to Marvel where his credits have included the Daredevil movie adaptation, Avengers, Thunderbolts, Marvel Adventures the Avengers, Mystique, Spider-Man: Breakout, Black Panther, Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four and Wisdom. He has worked on DC projects such as Countdown.
C.P. Smith’s striking art style first appeared in a Marvel comic with the 2004 series New Invaders. Since then, his work has been most closely identified with Wolverine, including stories in X-Men Unlimited, “The Package” in Wolverine #41 and the miniseries Wolverine Noir — all written by frequent collaborator Stuart Moore. Smith also worked with Moore on the Punisher: X-Mas Special.
