text volume: tan boards w/ black illustration & red, gilt printing. decorative pastedowns & endpapers. 278 pgs. all edges red. plate volume: tan boards w/ black illustration & red, gilt printing. two page plate index, 80 lose plates. Text volume: Interior pastedowns and endpapers at corner areas will have rippling and light, red discolorization. Creasing to page edges at gutters, otherwise, there appears to be little evidence of internal damage from the dampstaining. Textbloack is split, though the binding joints are firm. Plate volume: Plates remain bright, but will have a varieity of marks, smudges and tanning to edges. A few plates have very dense smudges. Interior pastedown has pencil notations from bookseller enumerating the missing plates. Originally, this was published with 100 plates; currently, it is missing plates: 7, 8, 18, 25, 27, 29, 33, 39, 43, 45, 50, 64, 66, 68, 70, 72, 77, 93, 98 and 99. Reading copies only. Approximately 27lbs for shipping. Good- (text vol: boards darkened; scuffed & smudged w/ speckled staining. dampstained, discolored white area to front and back boards that cover the lower corners & edges; spotted white dampstaining to board edges. lowers corners harshly bumped & rubbed; noticeably curled. red edge tint has instances of white, dampstaining discolorization. rubbed paper areas to front pastedown & endpaper. plate volume: boards highly scuffed, smudged, darkened & few white blotches of dampstaining. interior flaps have garish, dark grey tape repair; nearly detached. plates becoming brittle w/ chips & tears; will have instances of marks, smudges, darkening, etc.).…

We have about 1000' of backlog in our specialties numbering over 30,000 items (including 20,000+ smaller and ephemeral catalogues devoted to individual artist exhibitions). Current stock occupies over 2.3 miles of shelving. We are active buyers as well as very active sellers, and supply entire reference libraries as well as individual titles. We ship books almost everywhere, with the exception of China due to restrictions. Our website mullenbooks.com maintains our entire database of over 150,000 titles dynamically, so you can submit "wants" for books which are listed, but not currently in-stock. ASSUMPTIONS: By ordering a book from me, I will assume you have read my terms of
sale and agree to them. Once the books leave my hands, any non-delivery issue is between you and the
post office or other delivering party. If you refuse insurance, I want you to

We love our books and our customers, but we simply cannot afford to be a lending reference library.

SHIPPING: USPS shipping rates are not determined by the purchaser. All quoted shipping costs from ABEare based on a 4-pound package. If your shipment is over 4 lbs. it will be adjusted before shipping. If it needs to be increased, we will contact you through ABEbooks and request an increase to cover our costs, which include postage materials and time. Mullen Books will make the final determination on carrier based on cost and delivery dates unless given specific instructions from the buyer PRIOR to the calculation of shipping costs.
