No Less a Starfish

A little starfish named Twink is confronted with challenges and self-image issues because he has an arm that is curved and bent. He focuses on his imperfections until one magical day, he discovers he was much more than his perceived limitations. He becomes all he was wonderfully, uniquely meant to be.

Katherine is retired from from UT Southwestern-Moncrief Cancer Institute; She continues her work with cancer patients by serving as a community volunteer. In addition, to her writing, she created a jewelry line called, "No Less a Starfish", which was produced by Jeep Collins. Katherine coauthored the book, "Step's to Surviving Breast Cancer ". Her personal story was published in the book, "Chicken Soup for the Surviving Soul" and later was reenacted for PAX television staring Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker. Another project Katherine is proud of, is the design, building and maintaining the Legacy of Love Breast Cancer Garden and Memorial Park, in Fort Worth, Texas.
