1964. Reprinted. Unpaginated. Pictorial dust jacket over pictorial paper covered boards. Colour illustrations by author. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning. Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with minor chipping and creasing. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Reprint. This copy has been bound in hardcover, or rebound in hardcover -- handmade binding. Difficult to describe: hardcover with greenish suede leather backing, with decorative floral cloth over boards; some edge wear but overall clean with no lettering to spine. Attractive & neatly done. The actual book is bound in, retaining the original covers, now backed with archival paper to make it somewhat stiff (not sure why), plus new end-pages. Gift inscription on the half-title page (dated 1948) and otherwise unmarked with clean pages. It appears this 1947 reprint was issued in wraps (I see no comparisons currently listed). A very nice copy in an unusual binding. Experienced full-time bookseller since 1994 (selling online since 1998). Image may be added by request. Questions welcome. Seller Inventory # 20455
