Stars Turn Cold: The Spiders of Mars

The battle was won. But peace is fragile.

Three years after Black Eden, Sam and her crew return - battle-scarred, haunted, and bound by promises they can't escape. Mars calls to them now, a dead world shrouded in red dust and silence. But something is moving beneath its surface - something vast, intelligent, and waiting.

At the center of it all stands Stardust, a ghost from a forgotten world whose name carries both salvation and ruin. His presence alone threatens to unravel everything they fought to protect.

And watching from the shadows is Aud'Hari Kharzyr Lo'Gari, the Venator mercenary whose motives are as deadly as her aim. Sam's past begins to catch up with her, and Aud'Hari carries more than a grudge, but a contract with Sam's name on it

As war ignites once more across the stars, Sam must face the truth she's long feared: the past isn't finished with her... and Mars has its own way of keeping the dead alive.

Photographer. Author. Dad. Grandpa. Sci-Fi Trouble Starter.

Andy has spent over 20 years in the entertainment and media industry, which means he's seen it all-from backstage meltdowns to last-minute photo shoots involving more glitter than should be legally allowed. A published photographer and science fiction author, he now splits his time between snapping perfect shots and crafting sprawling space operas full of alien politics, interplanetary drama, and characters who never do what they're told.

He's the creative force behind the Stars Turn Cold series, where the fate of the galaxy is usually resting in the hands of a misfit crew, a malfunctioning ship, or a weaponized secret. He blames his wild imagination on too many late-night sci-fi marathons and a childhood fascination with things that glow in the dark.

Andy lives in Toledo, Ohio with his brilliant and endlessly patient wife, Keri. They've raised four amazing kids and are now enjoying the chaos of being grandparents to three small humans who may or may not inherit Andy's love of laser swords. When he's not writing, Andy enjoys pacing around the house mid-scene, rearranging books he swears he'll read "next week," and consuming enough coffee to short out a droid.
