She is also the founder and Executive Director of SelfPride, Inc., a nonprofit organization which provides health care services and community living arrangements for developmentally disabled individuals. Combined, her companies employ more than 100 people. Barbara is an internationally noted speaker, trainer, and consultant and has presented seminars nationwide for public and private companies, government agencies, and profit and nonprofit organizations. Barbara is an adjunct professor on the faculty of several colleges and is also the host of a popular weekly radio talk show. Barbara has a Masters degree in Criminal Justice Administration, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
