Print, 8 x 13 inches. Very good copy. 'Lydia Holmes being duly sworn, says that Chas. B. Holmes was in his life time owner of the land herein after described, that said C. B. Holmes died on the 10th of May 1871, that by his last will and testament he devised to said affiant all of his property both real and personal, that said will has been admitted to probate and that by virtue thereof she is the owner and in possession of that certain piece or parcel of land in the Town of Diamond Springs.described and marked.as Lot No. One (1) in Block Fifteen (15).(signed) Lydia Holmes. Subscribed and sworn 11th day of April, 1871 (1 corrected to '3') (signed) E. Bradbury, Notary Public and (signed) Chas F., Irwin, County Judge'. Tipped-in at top of affadavit is drawn map of lot, bounded on left by boundary line of plat, at top by Main Street, on right by County Road. With red seal of County of El Dorado affixed on lower left. Previously folded. Seller Inventory # 294500
