A retelling of the defeat of the Armada taken from contemporary papers and reports. Vol.I-lxxxiv, 364pp; Vol.II-418, iipp. Half-bound in blue buckram with cream buckram to remainder. Society's emblem in gilt to upper boards and gilt lettering to spines. Spine strips sunned. Fore and lower page edges have been left untrimmed. Endpapers and pastedowns foxed. Upper page edges of various pages have been left uncut. Books are heavy, 2.1kg, additional postage fee may be required.
