22x14.5 cm. Original front printed wrapper, lacks back wrapper. Removed from binding. Light library stamp on front wrapper. 81, 82 pp., folding map, diagram and table. Statistical table laid in. The map has short tears along several folds and separations at some fold junctions. The second title is: Report of Joseph S. Harris, Esq., upon the Coal Lands of the Philadelphia & Reading Coal & Iron Co. The text describes the railroads operations in transporting anthracite coal from central Pennsylvania. The large (62x124 cm.) colored map features coal deposits, with owners, in Schuylkill, Northampton, Dauphin, Cambria and Lebanon Counties, Pennsylvania. OCLC 13352700 (18 loc.).
