Statements by Two American Air Force Officers on Their Participation in Germ Warfare in Korea

Octavo: (2), 1-20, 29-95pp. Good copy in printed paper wrappers. Pages browned throughout. Chinese propaganda containing testimonies of Air Force Officers Kenneth Enoch and John Quinn about the use of germ warfare by the U.S.A. The subsequent Needham Report remains controversial to this day. The contents include portraits of Enoch and Quinn, their depositions both in typescript and in facsimile of the handwritten statements, Enoch's letter to his family, and Quinn's broadcast script. Pages 21-28 have been cut out and the index of contents has a crossed out entry for another letter by Enoch which was omitted. We do not know whether this was done by the publishers or by a later owner. There is another similar pamphlet published by the Foreign Languages Press but this book of 95 pages is more extensive with the full depositions in facsimile manuscript including many diagrams.
