8vo. xiv, (2) 1-332pp. Second Edition after the first in December, 1945. Very good book in very good minus dust jacket. Inscribed by the author on the FFEP. Red cloth covered boards with black lettering on spine. Boards are clean. Small crimps along upper and lower edges and corners of board spine. Sunning at head of board spine, upper edge of back board panel and small area on the lower edge of front board panel, all where there is loss to the dust jacket. Light age-toning to external page edges and text pages. Internally clean and with snug text block. Charming and colorful dust jacket. All folds are creased, scuffed and with several rub throughs. Archival tape repairs on the reverse side of fore-edge folds and at the top of the front spine fold to secure a closed vertical tear. Chips and creases along all upper edges. Chips and rubs across width at tail of jacket spine. Lower edge of front panel has triangular loss to the right of center. All fore-edge corners have loss from chips and rubs and with adjacent closed vertical tears along the fore-edge folds. Inside flaps are not clipped. No price is shown.
