About the Author
Rodi Alexander Friedman, CHCA health advocate for over 25 years, Rodi has spent the last 10 as a Certified Health Coach, donating her time to educate students, teachers and parents on proper nutrition and improved health. In addition, she has given lectures to various charitable organizations, amputees, as well as residential communities in South Florida. In March of 2009, Rodi was diagnosed with a rare, progressive, fatal lung disease called Lymphangioleiomayomatosis (LAM), for which there is no cure. With her undying determination, extensive knowledge of nutrition and her belief the body can regenerate itself with the right fuel, she has shown miraculous strength and healing! In fact, by applying many of the principles laid out in this book, she has defied all odds, overcoming LAM. Her symptoms have all but disappeared, allowing her to maintain an active lifestyle and continue her career in the entertainment industry singing and dancing. Rodi has been an international entertainer for over 25 years, performing in Atlantic City, on cruise ships, in theaters everywhere, and collaborating with many celebrities. Her passion for performing is equally strong to her passion for the education of nutrition, which is evident from the time she devotes to both full time endeavors. Finally, Rodi has created a website, livinghealthywithrodi.com, where she posts helpful tips, articles, and video blogs of healthy clean food preparation and cooking.Rodi believes in educating the public, one recipe at a time.
