Steer The Wheel: ...To Keep Your Organization Rolling Smoothly.

Leadership is both an art and a science. Effective leaders combine scientific principles with artistic flair and charisma to guide their organizations. This book provides a slightly different look at leadership and organizations to help you see how effective leadership is steering, not pushing or pulling. The smooth, even motions of steering help you - the leader - reach your desired goals by avoiding potholes and obstacles. Take a little time to read it to see... * The three primary functions of leaders * How other leadership models fail * Why inspiring shared values and vision help the organization roll by itself * How to decide how you will lead, regardless of how your boss may behave You will also read some leadership lessons learned through years of observation and practice.
