Quarto in shrink wrap, still in shrink. Wrap is split across the top, but I am pretty sure the book has never been removed. The is a letter of introduction slipped into the front of shrinkwrap, that includes a Jhumpa Lahiri quote, 'That's the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet.' Good to know what constitutes 'the thing about books'.
