Stella and Shell (Paperback or Softback)

Stella is a large mastiff mutt with white stripe on her head and four white-tipped paws. In Stella and Shell, Stella and her family

move to a new house with lots of space to run free, sniff new smells, and roll in the mud by the river's edge. The only thing Stella doesn't have at her new house is friends. She desperately tries to make friends with the local animals, but no one will play with her. Will Stella be lonesome, or will she find a new friend to play with? Readers will be happily surprised to find that Stella's new friend was right under her nose all along!

L.S. Lentz's adorable and touching story is perfect for children moving to a new home or looking to form special friendships. Stella and Shell also showcases the lesson of what it means to look past others' differences. You may look different, act differently, or have different experiences, but when you get to know each other, you will discover that you have more in common than you think.

First-time author, L. S. Lentz, has been an educator for over fifteen years. She is a wife and the mother to two adult children and one large mastiff mutt, Stella. After their move to a rustic farmhouse in Massachusetts, Stella struck up an unlikely friendship with a turtle, Shell. This inspired L.S. to write Stella and Shell. She hopes this book encourages readers to find friends of all shapes, sizes, and abilities. Find out more about L.S. on her website at stellaandshell.com and on Instagram: @stellaandshell.
