Very minor general wear. 1994 Large Softcover. 208, 19 pp. Introduction: The purpose of this book is to provide a simplified step-by-step procedure for the design of motion control systems. It is written for engineers and scientists and requires no previous experience with such systems. The book consists of two parts. The first part, including Chapters 1-8, deals with system elements, selection, and operation. The second part, starting with Chapter 9, covers the subject of motion programming: namely, how to use existing hardware to perform the required motion. All the chapters were written as independent modules. In order to focus the discussion on a specific system, we assume through the first part that the system utilizes an electric servo motor. The discussion, however, also applies almost fully to closed-loop systems utilizing hydraulic motors with the exception of some discussions on modeling. Seller Inventory # 2320143
