Step closer. This two-word weapon helps us resist the enemy of our soul. This weapon helps us manage the obstacles the enemy puts in our way to dissuade us from pursuing Jesus.
One person in the Bible stands out as an example of what this weapon looks like in action: King David. His advantage in sidestepping the traps of the enemy and living life well is the same one you have today. As we take a fresh look into how he consistently stepped closer to God, let’s arm ourselves with this same secret weapon through the following six sessions:
- Session 1: How do I step closer to God when I’m overlooked?
- Session 2: How do I step closer to God when I’m facing a giant?
- Session 3: How do I step closer to God when I’m dodging spears?
- Session 4: How do I step closer to God when my dream is gone?
- Session 5: How do I step closer to God in the middle of a mess?
- Session 6: How do I step closer to God when my dream comes true?
This study guide works together with the Step Closer video series and also includes a daily devotional for your personal quiet time with God.
