About the Author
Paul G. Schempp, PhD, president of Performance Matters, Inc., is a professional speaker, consultant, author, and scholar. A noted authority on expertise development, he has applied research to practice in designing performance programs for business and sports organizations; he also coaches individual golfers on the PGA, LPGA, and European and Canadian professional tours. Schempp has served as a Senior Fulbright Research Scholar at the University of Frankfurt, Germany, and taught at Nanyang Technical University in Singapore. Named the 2004 Distinguished Scholar by the International Center for Performance Excellence, he appears frequently on television and radio and is scientific consultant to Golf Digest. Schempp is also a professor at the University of Georgia.
