Since he graduated with first class honors from the Liverpool School of Art in 1989, he has illustrated more than 120 children’s books, as well as magazine articles, advertisements, theater posters, and corporate brochures. In 1997 he illustrated The Owl Tree, which won the U.K.’s Smarties Prize for that year.
