Stereoview of the chair Lincoln was sitting in at the time of his assassination at the Ford Theatre. Lincoln was seated in the State Box, where he was shot and killed by John Wilkes Booth. From the Ostendorf Collection, dated 1865. Titled on verso: "War Views - No. 3406 Copyright Secured - Published by E. & H. T. Anthony & Co. - Negative by Brady & Co." On flat, yellow mount, great tone and contrast with canceled revenue stamp on verso. In excellent condition. Seller Inventory # 11907
