About the Author

Jana Sedlackova is a children's book author who graduated from the School of Textile Design and Management in Liberec, Czech Republic. In her free time, she enjoys singing in choirs and decorating gingerbread during Christmas time. Her work is driven by the belief that everyone is searching for the perfect fairytale. She hails from Brno, Czech Republic.

Michelle Simpson, a Canadian illustrator who grew up in the forests of Niagara Falls, is inspired by nature and folktales. She uses digital and traditional media in her work. A Sheridan College graduate, Michelle is a freelancer who creates artwork for children's books and TV. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her cats.
