The Sticky Tape Kid: A Rhyming Picture Book About School, Friendship, and Imagination

It’s Emma’s first day of kindy, and while everyone else plays with puzzles, sandcastles, and trains, Emma only wants one thing—sticky tape! Soon the classroom is a giant sticky mess: lunchboxes sealed shut, puzzles taped together, and even the slide wrapped round and round. Poor Miss Thompson doesn’t know what to do!

Can Emma learn that sometimes it’s fun to try something new?

The Sticky Tape Kid is a funny, rhyming picture book for children aged 3–7 that celebrates creativity, friendship, and flexibility. Perfect for back-to-school reading, bedtime, and classroom story time, it’s ideal for little makers and craft-loving kids.
