The formalisations of the STICS crop model presented in this book can be considered as references used in the framework of crop sciences. They will help professionals and students in the partitioning and understanding of the complex agronomic system.
Éric Justes is a senior scientist and agronomist who spent three decades at INRAE and is currently at CIRAD. He helped develop the model and was also a STICS team coordinator (2016–2022).Marie Launay is an agronomist at INRAE. She is involved in climate change impact and adaptation studies. She supervised the development of the STICS module on airborne fungal pathogens.
Joël Léonard is a research scientist at INRAE. His research activities focus on soil N2O emissions. He developed the N2O module for the STICS model
Bruno Mary is a senior scientist at INRAE. He developed the STICS modules on crop and soil nitrogen balance.Loïc Strullu is a freelance researcher who has developed new STICS model formalisms to improve the simulation of perennial crop production and environmental impacts.
