Stop Being Busy: How I Worked 18 Hours a Day, Lost Everything I Built, and Finally Found a System That Actually Works

In August 2015, I lost the friend I was supposed to build my first business with. Weeks later, I started it anyway because not starting felt like losing him twice.

That's how Stop Being Busy actually begins. Not with a framework. With a road accident, $50,000 owed to the people who trusted me most, and two years of sleeping with my laptop while mistaking exhaustion for progress.

I did $160,000 in sales in year one of my first business. I was also drowning. Eighteen-hour days. Three hours of driving every night. A relationship I was too tired to be present for. I thought that was dedication. It was me confusing busy with productive and paying for the difference in ways no productivity book warned me about.

Inside, you'll find:

• The time wasters that disguise themselves as work and how I finally saw mine.
• The diary habit a mentor gave me in one sentence, that outperformed two years of 18-hour days.
• A day-by-day 30-Day System to rebuild how you spend your hours.
• What actually happened in the rooftop conversation that changed everything.
• The real cost of "busy" in money, in relationships, in time you don't get back.

This isn't written by someone who had it figured out. It's written by someone who lost $50,000 and time with people he loved, and found the way out one diary page at a time.

If you're a founder, entrepreneur, or professional who ends every day wondering where the hours went, this was written for you.
