Melva Lea Beacham has served the Lord and worked to extend His Kingdom all her adult life, working as church planter, pastor, teacher, psalmist, missionary, author, and conference speaker. During the 1980s and 1990s, Melva had a leading role in an international prayer movement based upon the revelation contained in The Lords Prayer. From that inspiration and in response to the need of her own children and their generation, Melva wrote her initial book to train children to pray - Friendship Time with God, A Childs Guide to The Lords Prayer. Long out of print, this valuable resource has been upgraded into the transforming, empowering eight-week curriculum - Stop! Look! Listen! The Lord's Prayer for Young People. Melva has three grown children and five grandchildren. She is married to Australian apostle Jeff Beacham.
