Today I have a self-sufficient, multi-faceted web agency (tone.co.uk), along with other offshoots, capable of operating - and growing - without my day-to-day presence. In the whirlwind period which followed the business has generated $1.1m in revenues and growing, so I needed to tell my story. It took me one failure at the freelance game and 2 years inside a corporate to figure it out, now I want to give you the benefit of my experience as well as inviting you into the world of the people who have been there and broken the freelance boundaries themselves.
