The Storeroom of the Heart: Jesus Model for an Abundant Life

In The Storeroom of the Heart, author Charles W. Short, provides guidance to help us rise above the mediocrity in our life and to be more effective as God’s army on earth. It shows how defining the heart as a storeroom can be a powerful tool for accomplishing meaningful things.

In Matthew 12:3 4-35 Jesus describes the heart as a storeroom.  Whatever we put in, will spill out later in our choices, patterns, and behavior. In The Storeroom of the Heart, author Charles W. Short uses scriptural principles and anecdotal instruction to help readers

• understand how their heart functions as a storeroom;
• grasp what shaped their heart and continues to challenge it;
• gain a fresh start with a new heart from God;
• adopt strategies to guard and strengthen their hearts; and
• strive for a maturity of heart which will produce integrity.
