Bright and clean red cloth with decorated front panel of wild animals in black and red with silver gilt border; scuffs to spine tips and to board corners; binding exposed at one front end paper, otherwise sound; yellowing to end papers; many dramatic black and white illustrations, some of full-page size; clean and tight text block with dirt to edges. No dust jacket. Enchanting stories about the Whale, Camel, Rhino, Leopard, the Elephant and others in large, easy to read print, told in 249 illustrated pages.
