Octavo, green illustrated cloth (hardcover), full color illus. endpapers, 95 pp. From Foreword: Many of you remember the Boy Names Billy who spent a summer with Somebody in the north woods. Billy did not care for make-believe stories so much as he did for true ones. He was tremendously interested in the things that are really-so: how customs began, and what certain days mean, and why things are the way they are. So Somebody told him about them, and they were put into a book called The Really-So Stories that many of you have read. But the Boy Named Billy was like Oliver Twist: he wanted more. He was always wishing for more really-so stories. And Mom and Dad couldn't answer all his questions -- they had a few other things to do. So they throughout of the plan of asking Somebody to come and make them a good long visit while writing a new book, and just answer Billy's questions when it was perfectly convenient. It so happened that Somebody, who strange to say enjoyed answering questions anyway, was delighted with the idea. And so there were more really-so stories. Terms of sale
All items subject to prior sale. Shipping is $4.25 for the first
volume via book rate ($9.00 via Priority Mail) and $1.00 for each volume
thereafter. Rates for international orders are a minimum of $28.00 per
book (via Global Priority Air, if feasible). Sets, oversize and/or heavier
volumes will generally cost more to ship, both domestically and
internationally; we will quote a price to you when this is the case. Florida
residents need to add 7% sales tax. Payment may be by Check/Money
Order (in US dollars), Credit Card (American Express, Mastercard, and
Visa) or PayPal. All items are returnable within 30 days.
Shipping terms
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
