Original green cloth on boards. Price-clipped DJ has been taped inside to repair several small edge tears. Storm is a German Shepherd. The first chapter begins with his birth, in which his mother is referred to in the Anglo-Saxon term for "harlot", and the same term is used later to denote a female otter. It is an involved story dealing with Storm's relationships with other animals, fox hunters, and a persistent naturalist. Several drawings by Ambler accompany the story. Previous owner's name and date. 176 pp. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
