Stormfuhrer

In 2031, Richard Hayes is a brilliant but disillusioned Texas history teacher with two obsessions: technology and the past. When a glitch in one of his homebuilt programs reveals a mysterious website that should not exist, Hayes steps into an experience far beyond any game--a living, immersive world set inside Nazi Germany.

What begins as curiosity becomes an addiction. Inside this impossible simulation, Hayes inhabits the body of an SS officer in 1939, where every choice unfolds in real time and every moral compromise carries a cost. But the deeper he goes, the more terrifying the truth becomes: this is no ordinary virtual reality. It may be a doorway into history itself.

As Hayes brings the program into his classroom, his students are drawn into their own roles across the Third Reich-guards, prisoners, nurses, soldiers, survivors. Their decisions begin to ripple outward in ways no one can explain, and the line between education, obsession, and catastrophic consequence starts to vanish.

Stormfuhrer is a dark, intelligent blend of alternate history, time travel, and speculative science fiction.
