Poor condition - boards rubbed and worn, spine detaching from boards, front hinge broken, rear hinge very loose. Decorated endpapers torn at hinge. Orange and black illustrated title page. Copiously illustrated in orange and black throughout with charming illustrations by the famous animal caricaturist J.A. Shepherd, some of these are full page. The extensive damage to this book is redeemed by these wonderful illustrations.
