The Story of Raging Wind: Book 1 of The Return of the Prodigal Father Series: A Fantasy Adventure

A nine-year-old boy. One impossible rescue. A journey that turns fear into courage.
Luca Waver is nine. His father is gone. His mother works nights to keep their home afloat. And when Luca is left alone after dark, he does what many children do—he tries to be brave… while his imagination runs wild.
But one night, the sky comes to his room.
Clouds roll in. Stars flicker overhead. And Luca is pulled into a realm between worlds, where four winged witches hold a secret council: their brother, Raging Wind, has been captured in a far-off galaxy. To save him, they need someone small enough to slip through danger—yet strong enough to keep going when hope feels thin.
They choose Luca.
Soon he’s traveling through breathtaking, perilous skies with an unforgettable team:

• Spry, a fiery winged horse born of flame
• Dil, a clever little bee with big ideas
• Speedy, a surprising frog with hidden strength
• Fangs, a loyal pup who never backs down

Together, they face trials that demand more than bravery. Luca must think clearly under pressure, make fair choices, protect his friends, and learn that real strength isn’t loud—it’s steady.
Along the way, Luca discovers something unexpected: words can be power. Poetry, rhythm, and memory become keys—sometimes the only keys—to break the spell and move forward.
