A notebook with some preliminary drawings for a tale about Roger and his adventures delivering a letter, not dated but c. 1905. Contains 25 images in total, no text apart from the title image tipped on to the cover. Most of the drawings have been tipped in but some are drawn direct on the page. the first few are coloured or partly coloured in water colour, later images are in pen and inkand uncoloured. One is in pencil repeated in pen and ink on the opposite page. There is a small square illustrated route map attached to front end page. The material appears never to have been published. Size: 12mo - over 6�" - 7�" tall.
