1891 first edition of the second 6 months to 1891, bound in green cloth with leather spine and corners. 5 raised bands and inlaid title panel to spine. Marbled end papers and page edges. This volume contains the first "Adventures 1-6 of Sherlock Homes" by A Conan Doyle. Occasional age freckling throughout otherwise clean interior with no writing, marks or tears and all pages tight in binding. Hinges and seams robust. Covers generally clean, leather is rubbed to corners and spine extremities.
