There is something Strange In The House Today follows three curious pet cats as they sense, discover and investigate a Moses basket that has appeared in the house. Something is in the basket. Can it be a doll? The thing wiggles, it jiggles, it giggles and then cries. It’s not a doll. Perhaps it’s a kitten. It has hair, not fur. It has eyelashes, not whiskers. It’s a newborn baby girl. The baby cries. The cats do not like the new sound in the house today. They purr and meow. The baby coos and falls asleep. The story ends as the cats lay on the bed protecting the baby and the basket. A new family began in the house.

She has retired from the NYC school system and currently teaches writing at NCC in Garden City, NY.
