Originally built in Spain in the 1100's as a monastery, it was bought by William Randolph Hearst in 1925 and dismantled and stored for years. It was finally re-assembled and rebuilt in Florida in 1952 by a pair of entrepreneurs. Illustrated with vintage b/w, sepia-toned and color photographs. Measures 5.75" x 8" with 63+ pages. Comes with a bonus item - a vintage booklet titled "The Mountain Lake Sanctuary" - about another tourist attraction located in Florida.
