Orig. published in 1946 in French ("L'Etranger") & in a First American Edition in English that same year, this is a much later printing (1967) of that latter book. In 154 pages, this hardcover 12mo has clay-colored cloth over boards, lettered & ruled in black to spine, black topstain, no statement of edition. Condition is Fine: exceptionally clean & crisp, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white & completely unmarked. Slight fading along top edges. The unclipped DJ (with later $3.95 price & author photo by IZIS on back DJ, typography & jacket design by Warren Chappell), is VG, with mild rubbing to extremities, teeny chips at corners & both ends of spine; back side of DJ show some smudges.
