Stranger World … where the Humans are the Attractions. A world where a civilization has traded reality for life in total immersion theme parks. The artificial creations took over and conquered humanity. While the Creations evolved for centuries, their subjugated humans are now nearly extinct.

Amidst the chaos, a combat helicopter pilot shot down in 2012, awakens in this bizarre and futuristic world. It is a place where homicidal monarchs reign, ravenous monsters roam, and the tea parties are enough to drive a Hatter Mad. But Colonel George Stapleton doesn't care about any of those things. His only goal is to find his kidnapped daughter. He is soon joined by other humans from the past and an 18th century, British officer named "The Leftenant". She appears only in the form of a no-nonsense hologram and seems desperate to reclaim her lost airship, the HMAS Dauntless.

Then of course, there's the enigmatic, mischievous imp known as, The Lamppost Man, who, despite his nasty habit of getting everyone into trouble, just may be the key to everything.

For over a quarter of a century I have worked at theme parks all over the world and I have often wondered, What if all of these fantasticallands, and everything in them, what if all of it...was real? What if thecharacters weren't costumed characters but living, breathing andevolving things, and worse still, they became our overlords? A roughoutline based on this very premise would sit in my night table drawerfor nearly twenty-five years.

   Then, one day, my nine-year-old daughterwas sick with the worst flu she hadn't ever gotten in her life. For aweek all she could do was little more than sleep. To pass the time Ipicked up the outline where I had left off and I would write her achapter a day. And then, each night, I would read her what I hadwritten. This went on for several days, and before long we were so bothso invested in the characters, that those characters demanded we finishthe story. Which we did.

   I hope you enjoy it.

   At the time of thiswriting I have already completed Book II and outlined the overall storyarc for the next 12 books. My daughter and I hope you will join us,along with the snarky Leftenant, gargoyle-butler Cheeves and a host ofother strange and wonderful characters aboard her majesty's Air Ship,The Dauntless.
