1807. Fifth Edition. 180 pages. Half bound brown leather with marbled paper covered boards; gilt lettered spine; appears 19th cent. binding. Contains at least 14 B&W engravings but no map. Marbled endpapers and text block edges. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Slight gutter cracking. Binding is firm. Previous owner's large pen inscription to title page and p.174. Faint creases to some pages. A few dog-eared corners. Plates more heavily tanned and foxed. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Spine is a little sunned. Gilt is bright. Top end of spine notably stained. A few liquid droplet marks.
