Strategic Management of Creativity and Innovation of Human Resources for Career Development in Service Sector: A Case Study of Tourism Sector of Jharkhand

Tourism in India is an ever growing in the industry and has the potential to surpass all the other industries in terms of employment generation and an economic development. It plays a major role in developing culture and natural harmony. Tourism is a highly labour intensive industry whereby the employees have to be hospitable and eager to serve at all points of time. It was statistically proved that the strategic management of creativity and innovation of human resources in the tourism sector would lead to career development of the employees. Further, positive and significant relationship was found between strategic management of creativity innovation and positive tourism as well as career development and positive tourism. This implies that the creativity and innovation as well as career development of the employees would lead to the development of tourism sector in Jharkhand. Hence, the employees as well as the organisation can take significant steps for developing a work culture that appreciates creativity and lays emphasis on career development of the employees for the overall development of the tourism sector.
