Glaser, PhD, FAAA is well known for his leadership on behalf of the profession of Audiology: He has served as President of the American Academy of Audiology, the Ohio Academy of Audiology and two terms as Chairman of the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. Dr. Glaser received his B.S. in Speech Pathology & Audiology in 1969 from Bowling Green State University, his M.A. in Audiology from Kent State University in 1971 and Ph.D. in Audiology from Kent State University in 1974. He believes that the strength of the profession lies in its members’ ability to participate as independent providers earning respect and confidence within their professional communities by beneficial outcomes for all patients served. Widely respected for his innovative approach to the profession through writings, presentations and seminars on practice management given across the country, he is the owner of Audiology Associates of Dayton, Inc. and the Auris Group, a practice management consulting firm serving varied health care practitioners and the hearing care industry.
Robert M. Traynor, EdD, MBA practices Audiology at Audiology Associates of Greeley, Inc. in Greeley, Colorado with particular emphasis in amplification and operative monitoring offering all general audiological services to patients of all ages. He has degrees from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley (BA., 1972, MA, 1973, Ed.D. 1975), the University of Phoenix (MBA, 2006) as well as Post Doctoral Study at Northwestern University (1984). He taught Audiology at the University of Northern Colorado (1973-1982), University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (1977) and Colorado State University (1982-1993). For the past 15 years has been an active consultant in Audiology for the hearing industry including Bernafon A/G, Switzerland , Maico, Internacoustics, and Otologics, LLC . He continues to teach doctoral level Audiology students at the University of Florida, Gainesville and the PCO School of Audiology, Elkins Park, PA. A practice manager for over 35 years, Dr.Traynor has lectured on most aspects of the field in over 40 countries, including the United States.
