Strategy is Not Rational: A new strategy planning approach that integrates emotion, motivating people to move mountains

Changes in today’s business environment, including generational, technological, environmental, and geopolitical, have resulted in a new business landscape. This book puts forth a new way for businesses to achieve results sustainably for the coming decades by integrating strategy creation with strategy execution, emotion with rational thinking, and previously disparate strategy works into one cohesive process. This approach, called “Integrated Strategy Planning and Execution,” is designed to address the failure of traditional strategy planning approaches to overcome pervasive silo thinking, lack of shared purpose that transcends role-based purpose, unclear decision-making, and ineffective execution in the field today.
