About the Author
AVone was once considered New York City's most wanted street artist. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he is the quintessential New York artist. Through his work, AVone creates a re-imagined urban environment, wrought with images of distinctive, gritty decay. The artist's work is mainly influenced by the city he calls home, as well as abstract expressionist Franz Kline and Andy Goldsworthy. Their work has inspired the Fragmenting of AVone's writing and self-developed textural surfaces. His illustrious list of clients includes the global cable television network ESPN, as well as the men's professional basketball league (the NBA). Currently, he works at Candamill Studios.However, unlike a lot of artists of our time, AVone produces every part of his art in-house - from the actual making of his silk screens, to printing, framing and working other materials. Every inch of his creation happens within his control, pushing him to constantly experiment with new mediums.

Please designate shipping preference. Media mail is 4.25 for average size hardbacks and paperbacks in the U.S. Delivery confirmation is included in the price. $1.00 ea. addit. book. Oversized books are charged at exact cost. Flat-rate Priority rate is $6.95, including delivery confirmation. Oversized books shipped priority depend on weight and zone and will be charged at exact cost. Foreign postage, to most countries, is 32.95 for average size hardbacks, sent First Class International rate.. Canada is $24,95. Flat rate priority is $38.95 to most countries. Books under 1 pound can usually be shipped first class international for less. For books that do not fit in the flat rate envelope, costs will be given at the time an order is placed. There is no longer a surface rate option. ALL BOOKS ARE SHIPPED WITH TRACKING NUMBERS FROM USPS. Any claims of non-delivery will be challenged against delivery confirmation information to the contrary.
Books are returnable within 7 days of receipt. Payment by major credit card, U.S. check or Paypal prior to shipment. Libraries and institutions invoiced.
