About the Author
"I had to get the stories in my head on to paper," C.J. explained. "I couldn't even watch cartoons without making up my own stories. The problem was, I didn't know how to write it all on paper so...I begged my parents to get me into school early so I could learn how."
C.J. did a lot of creative writing after she learned how to put the stories in her head on paper. She excelled in Journalism on the school newspaper staff, winning city awards and also the spot as editor her senior year but, she turned the opportunity down. Instead, she graduated early to pursue her career in writing. By the age of sixteen, C.J. was enrolled in the University of Texas at Arlington as a Journalism Major.
Although C.J. aced journalism, she found that creative writing was more her style. She took continued educational courses in writing both fiction and non-fiction books.
C.J. has over one hundred books published, some under her name and others under ghost names. She has written countless articles and is a full-time blogger for several websites.
When asked how she realized her dream to become a writer, C.J. replied, "I knew I was a writer when I couldn't NOT write. I HAD to write and that's all there was to it. It's what I do and part of who I am."
