Her research into local family names has expanded to include over 75,000 entries in her genealogical database. Strong Foundations: A History of Farmington and Scarsdale 1843-2024, second edition reflects extensive research into families in the communities of Farmington and Scarsdale in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Marlean’s daughter, Pat Rhodenizer, co-authored this book researching land deeds going back to the original Crown Land Grants of the mid 1800s. Photos, home ownership from the 1800s to the present, and family stories have been compiled to create this 320-page history of the area.
